This training will explain the benefits of sharing a common code base across multiple sites, and help you decide whether this Pantheon feature is right for your projects.
Custom Upstreams are a self-serve feature available to Organization Workspaces that allows new sites to be created from the same codebase. This can let you standardize design and functionality across many sites, and help make site updates more efficient.
The most common uses cases are for creating multiple sites that 1) all have a common start state that use the same themes and plugins/modules or 2) are "cookie-cutter" sites that need identical functionality, but with different content.
In this virtual instructor led training, you'll learn how to:
- Create and maintain a Custom Upstream
- Decide whether the benefits of custom upstreams are right for your team
